After discovering extensive rot, mold, and carpenter ant damage to my condos rim joists, sill plates, and rafters, Ken did an excellent job of removing over 40′ of almost completely destroyed wood in our crawl space, and replacing it with pressure treated wood and iron. He also completely waterproofed the repairs with tar. This job required jacking up the entire length of the rear of our condo. After this major repair, Ken also replaced a regular door and a window with a sliding glass door to our patio. These problems had to be fixed immediately, so it was really important to find someone who could start soon and finish quickly. Ken came through on both of those requirements.
At our request… Ken used my wife and I as laborers on the job in order to help save us money. We would definitely use Ken and Home Equity Builders again if needed.
Ken Kraft has done work for me for 5 years in Bozeman. He helped me prepare my home in Dillion Mt. for sale. He re-insulated it, painted it, and installed two skylights.
At my commercial properties in Bozeman, Ken has done plumbing (including entire bathroom installations), concrete work (including an entire patio), extensive carpentry work (including removing and installing entire rooms, decks and stairways), flooring both wood and tile, installing awnings, electrical repairs, sheetrock, painting, re-roofing, windows, doors, and skylights.
